City Clerk: Denial of a claim for damages and authorization for the City Clerk to send out notification of such to Tanner Chennault. B. City Clerk: Denial of a claim for damages and authorization for the City Clerk to send out notification of such to Stephanie Macias. C. City Clerk: Denial of a claim for damages and authorization for the City Clerk to send out notification of such to Elijah Crockett. D. Administration: Second reading of Ordinance 20-10, amending Chapter 2.48.070, Preference for local vendors, to increase the preference threshold from 3% to 5% over competing bids. E. Administration: Adoption of Administration Regulation 1.31, which creates a formal process for classification changes for City of Hanford personnel. F. Public Works: Approval of the Suggested Routes to School plans for Frontier Elementary School, Pioneer Elementary School, and Pioneer Middle School for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. G. Public Works: Introduction of Ordinance No. 20-11, an amendment to Section 10.16.130(B) of the City of Hanford Municipal Code, to prohibit parking at any time on East Third Street from 9th Avenue to East end, both sides. H. Public Works: Authorization for the Director of Public Works to send a letter to the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO), requesting the Extension of Services to the proposed temporary / permanent housing project in the County without annexation by the City of Hanford. (10th Avenue south of Hanford Armona Road).
GENERAL BUSINESS: A. Police: Approval of an Amendment to Municipal Code Section 5.56.330 (E) (Operating Requirements for non-storefront retail) to will allow for an increase in the storage capacity for onsite cannabis contingent upon the operator meeting additional security requirements. B. Public Works: Authorization to purchase Storm Drainage Basin property from Hanford Investments, LP, for $539,708.40. (12 1/2 Avenue north of the UP Railroad.), appropriation of an $489,708.40 from the Storm Drainage Reserves to cover the cost of the acquisition, and authorization for the City Manager to execute and the City Clerk to attest and file with the Kings County Recorder's Office upon completion of appropriate documents.
