Administration: Introduction and waiver of the first reading of Ordinance 20-10, amending Chapter 2.48.070, Preference for local vendors, to increase the preference threshold from 3% to 5% over competing bids. C. Police Department: Approval of the purchase of a 30'X40' steel carport from Hanford Auto Sales to be installed at the National Guard Armory to house police vehicles. E. Public Works: Approval of the Notice of Completion for the FY17/18 Pavement Resurfacing Project: Lacey Blvd. from 11th Avenue to Irwin Street, and authorization for the Mayor to execute and the City Clerk to attest and file said Notice with the Kings County Recorder's Office.
Public Works: Authorization for a sole source purchase of twelve (12) Autoscope Vision detection cameras from Econolite of Anaheim, CA in the amount of $62,791.10
Community Development: APPEAL NO. 2020-01, filed by Cal-Clark Farms, appealing the decision of the Planning Commission on August 11, 2020 to take no action on Mitigated Negative Declaration No. 2020-22 and Vesting Tentative Tract 928. Vesting Tentative Tract 928: A request to subdivide 81.71 acres into 283 residential lots, a 2.25-acre park, and a 4.94-acre basin. The project is located at the southeast corner of Centennial Drive and Fargo Avenue (APN 009-030-158, -005, and -115).
GENERAL BUSINESS: Administration: Discussion and Update on the Kings County COVID-19 Small Business Assistance Program and Update on the meetings with the Unified State Support Team.
Parks and Community Services: Approval of the purchase and construction of one playground structure at Lakewood Park to BCI Burke in the amount of $90,448.82.
